Los Mo'edim - Tiempos designados

Beth Yeshua International unites you to the roots of your faith: our common faith in the Almighty God and Creator of all things unites us: Jews and Gentiles. As it is written..."In the beginning God..." Every time we celebrate Shabbat, or gather for the holidays, we are proclaiming to the world "This God, this Creator, is our GOD."

The Mo'edim (Moe-eh-Deem), are incorrectly called "The holy days of the Jews." According to Leviticus 23, God refers to them as "The appointed (appointed) times of ADONAI...", and commanded his people as well as foreigners who desired to join the people of Israel, to observe these holy convocations during all the time. all their generations. We refer to them as holidays. These include: The weekly Shabbat (Seventh-day Sabbath); Pesach (Passover, which includes matzah, unleavened bread, and Yom Habikkurim, firstfruits); Shavuot (Pentecost); Yom Teruah (Trumpets); Yom Kippur (Atonement); Sukkot (Tabernacles) and the eighth day of Assembly (Shemini Atzeret).

Every year, God put appointments on His calendar when He told His children to meet Him. Why do you think that was? While many things come to mind and centuries of teaching and preaching exposed on them, perhaps it is as simple as 5 words? Those 5 words are: Revere, Rehear, Remember, Relate, Reveal. Do you notice that they are all verbs? It is certainly something to think about!

God's calendar is cyclical. So, we present it as a circle, showing the Hebrew names for the annual cycle of seasons and festivals.

Hovering your mouse over any of the icons on the calendar wheel will display this year's dates and basic information about the "Times."
